Overview

Shefford is a small market town in Bedfordshire with a population of approximately 6,000. The name of the town is originally derived from Sheep’s Ford as the ford of two rivers run though the town which was once host to a popular sheep market. The surrounding villages are picturesque and popular with commuters who want country living but can reach a train station providing direct easy access into the city. The area offers a variety of different homes that could suit young professionals, families and people retiring for a quieter life.

The office is situated in a prominent position in the heart of the town, previously a sweet shop it benefits from the largest window display on the High Street, perfect to promote your property to the local market. The office is open 7 days a week and the friendly local staff are always on hand and happy to help.

The team is extremely dedicated with over 30 years of experience. The office is managed by Jamie Nicholas, supported by his Assistant Manager Steph Beresford. Together they have one simple goal and that is to market your home to the highest standard possible, so they are to achieve the best possible price. The negotiators Jo Dalton and Tayler Gregory utilise their local knowledge, experience and friendly bubbly personalities to make sure your move goes as smoothly as possible. The office is held together by Karen Haskell the administrator who ensures all the correct paperwork is in place, her attention to detail is unrivalled.

The office also has a dedicated team for residential lettings and property management. Hayley Edwards, Tracey Bush, Debbie Brown and Gill Lee utilise the same marketing tools that the sales team use, meaning they can successfully locate and secure the best tenants for the landlords, as well as maintaining the properties and managing the property accounts. Dealing in lettings only, means they are specialised in this field.

The whole Shefford team ensure vendors, buyers, landlords and tenants alike are offered a professional and friendly service providing valuable in depth knowledge of all aspects of the property market.

I could call them anytime they reply to e-mails straight away.Steph made sure everyone was updated on the process at all times. There was NO hard sales or hidden costs.Shefford country properties definitely work together as part of team and that really shows.Would definitely recommend them to anyone !
