Careers at Country Properties

We’re always looking for positive, entrepreneurial, forward – thinking people who want to join our mission to transform estate agency. Could that be you?

Build a career in property

We believe in investing in long-term relationships. Not only with our clients but with our people too. In fact, we pride ourselves on it.

When you come to our branches and chat to the teams, you’ll soon discover something that’s quite special these days. Many of our people have been with us a long time. That’s because making Country Properties a good place to work is in our DNA. But a pleasant environment and nice colleagues isn’t enough. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, you want to know you’ve got the opportunity to grow and develop. As well as our own training programmes, our position as part of The Property Franchise Group (TPFG), the UK’s largest multi-brand letting and estate agency franchising group, means all our employees can access the Level 3 Certificate Property Advice and Practice (CePaP).
This qualification, which covers sales and lettings, is endorsed by the property sector’s professional body Propertymark (which incorporates what used to be NAEA, the National Association of Estate Agents)  and ARLA, the Association of Residential Letting Agents.

Your place in our team

We invest in you as much as you invest in us – and there are roles for you, whether you’re an extrovert go-getter, a quiet thinker or an organiser with everything at their fingertips.

We’re a team of individuals and we believe in helping each other to develop our unique professional goals, while supporting personal wellbeing. We love giving people their first step onto the career ladder – and our apprentices have gone on to senior roles within our branches.

But you don’t have to be a beginner to start out in estate agency. Whatever your transferable skills, we’d love to hear from you. Click through to our branch pages [link] to meet some of our people and discover their own career stories – you might be surprised. With 12 branches in our network, there are lots of opportunities to develop your career. How far you take it is up to you!

And we believe in making work work for you. So if you’re bursting with skills and looking for flexibility, talk to us. Some of our roles are suitable for hybrid working – and we have lots of people working part-time hours that fit in around other commitments.

Perks & Benefits

We believe it speaks volumes that many of our team members have been with us for years. Here’s what they say they love most about working at Country Properties

Team collaboration

Every member of our team is aligned with a common purpose, driving us forward with passion and determination. Together, we navigate challenges, celebrate successes, and continually strive for excellence.

Dynamic work environment

Estate agency is the ultimate people business – and that goes for the working environment too. As owner-managed small businesses, we run tight teams where everyone counts.

Training and development

We pride ourselves on our continuous training and development, as well as helping our colleagues achieve their full potential through formal qualifications.

“I feel very lucky to be part of such a positive and supportive team who have given me a fantastic start to my career in Estate Agency"

The nurturing and collaborative work atmosphere here at Country Properties significantly boosts my professional growth. The constant pursuit of excellence motivates me to consistently deliver exceptional customer service and surpass client’s expectations when finding them a home. Over my year of service at Country Properties I have had many opportunities to increase my knowledge of agency with consistent mentoring from my director and guidance from my colleagues around me. Additionally, I have completed my ‘Level 3 Certificate in Property Advice and Practice’ and I have the view to complete the ARLA 3 in the new year, fully supported by the company.
