Step 1: Obtaining a rental valuation

There are several things to consider when choosing an agent to value your home and attract the best possible tenants for you. At Country Properties we take great pride in not only meeting but exceeding our Landlords expectations.

Step 2: What service do you require?

When making the decision to become a landlord, how much involvement do you want with your property, tenant, rent collection and maintenance?

Step 3: Getting your property out there

At Country Properties we want to help you find the perfect tenant who is in a great position to rent your property. We know that there are 3 key factors for landlords, quick let, best price and peace of mind that your property investment is in good hands.

Step 4: Viewing and agreeing an offer

Country Properties letting agents like to accompany the prospective tenants to view your property so we can point out the great potential it has and how it can suit them, however you do have the option of hosting the viewing yourself.

Step 5: Legal checks, tenancy agreement and inventory

To make sure your investment is safe, at Country Properties we run through checks on future tenants making sure the property is within their budget, their Right to Rent status is sound, their employment history is checked, checks on their previous addresses, credit and financial circumstances are secure and that you fully understand their situation.

Step 6: Taking and holding the deposit

Once Country Properties have taken the full deposit from the tenants this will be registered with the relevant deposit scheme. TDS, DPS or MyDeposits, depending on what service you choose and which branch you are with.

Step 7: Moving in

The service level you have chosen will determine how much contact you will have with the property and the tenants once they have moved in. Country Properties can offer a Fully Managed service which will help minimise your workload as much as possible.
