Barton-le-Clay is a large village consisting of a population of over 5,000 and can be found in Central Bedfordshire, 32 miles north of London.

The village is situated next to the A6 which bypasses the village and continues north to Bedford or south to Luton. The nearest train station is Harlington but it has regular buses running through the village. Local amenties include a doctor’s surgery, dentist, library, and a lower and middle school.

Upper school children attend Harlington Upper School for their final years after 13 years old. Barton Hills is part of the National Nature Reserve which is made up of chalk grassland, beech and ash-maple woodland with a number of springs at the foot of its valley.
