2016 stamp duty changes: Everything you need to know

Stamp duty, as you may already know, is a tax payable when you buy a property or land for more than a certain price in England, Wales or Northern Ireland. The current threshold for residential properties is £125,000, or £150,000 for non-residential purchases.
